On Monday, 4 April, 2016, Upep project was presented to members of Sakarya branch of Association of All Industrialists and Business People of Turkey (TUMSIAD) with the participation of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hakan Tunahan and foreign students.
Also students from Benin, Serbia and Ghana of Sakarya University made presentation about their countries to Murat Kesik, Head of TUMSIAD’s Sakarya Branch, and chairman advisors Gökhan Gürler and Ahmet Yağmur Ersoy, vice-presidents and members of the board of directors, Young Tümsiad commission’s president Koray Filiz and Head of Commission for International Business Development Commission of Sakarya Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ali İhsan Güneş.
Murat Kesik, Head of TUMSIAD’s Sakarya Branch, stated that UPEP project would offer substantial opportunities to business world and they are ready to be stakeholder of this project and promised his support for the expansion of such type of projects.
Moreover, Ali İhsan Güneş expressed that for the first time in Turkey, a project like UPEP has been developed by the collaboration of Sakarya University and Sakarya Chamber of Commerce and Industry. and he believed that this project would create mutual benefit for both, businesses and over three thousand foreign students currently studying at Sakarya University who could be market ambassadors for Turkish business.
UPEP's coordinator Associate Prof. Dr. Hakan Tunahan said that both Sakarya Chamber of Commerce and Industry & International Trade Department's partnership, affirmed their wishes to spread this project to a bigger base.
